There are plenty of local street food options and casual hangout spots nearby. the staff are friendly and helpful, and the hostel itself is clean, stylish, and comfortable. the rooms have reliable and fast WiFi, as well as cold AC. the fourth floor offers a peaceful view, plenty of seating, and a refreshing breeze.

The hostel surpassed my expectations in terms of cleanliness and amenities. The private bathroom was a definite plus, and everything was spotlessly clean throughout my stay. The staff, particularly the manager, were friendly and helpful, and their English was excellent. I also enjoyed the nightly show on the rooftop terrace, which offered stunning views of the surrounding area and even a few English songs for entertainment. the hostel's proximity to the airport was convenient, with just a 15-minute taxi ride.
While the hostel had its merits, it was somewhat tucked away in a neighborhood, making it less convenient for exploring the city. Although the breakfast was reported to be good, I found it to be average.

I stayed at Yam Yen for one night before my flight home and it was perfect for my needs. The hostel's private transport service to the airport in the morning was a great option and well worth the 180 THB. The room was clean, secure, and had good AC, and the private bathroom was also clean and well-equipped. The proximity to the airport was a major plus, and there was a 7-Eleven nearby for breakfast. The rooftop terrace was a nice touch for relaxation if you have some extra time.
I highly recommend this hotel.

The hostel has a nice balcony where you can enjoy simple food and drinks. The private bathroom was a bonus, and the owner, Mark, even treated us to a show on the rooftop terrace with amazing night views of the area and the airport. It's a must-stay for anyone flying in and out of Thailand.
Can't recommend highly enough this hotel.

I recently stayed at Yam Yen Hostel for one night before my flight. The staff was incredibly accommodating, allowing me to check in at 2AM due to a delayed and redirected flight. The location is perfect, close to the airport with plenty of street food options. The staff and neighbors were friendly, the rooms were clean, and the WiFi was fast and reliable. I especially loved the peaceful view and refreshing breeze on the fourth floor rooftop. I will definitely stay here again during my travels in Thailand.
Would definitely recommend this hotel.

The location of the hostel was excellent, with easy access to the main attractions and public transportation. It was convenient to explore the city and visit different places. The staff at the hostel were friendly and helpful, always ready to assist with any queries or requests. They provided great recommendations for things to do and places to eat.
The noise level at night was quite disturbing, especially if you are a light sleeper. There were loud parties nearby which made it difficult to get a good night's sleep.
